To answer a few responses, I have the finals screen supply clipped with a connector inserted so I can disconnect/reconnect the screens easily. Also provides a convenient spot to measure screen current which I have not done yet.

When I first started messing with this rig I had no output. So I went through the alignment of the various osc/mix/amp stages. All seemed to align as expected per the manual so those stages appear to be functioning. Finally found corroded relay contacts as the reason for no output. Replacement relay led to output with unstable plate current. Correct biasing seems to have solved that issue. 

That's where I am now. Looking for low rf output in a preceding stage somewhere.
