[Hallicrafters] sx-101 issue has evolved

Hi all,
Im sure you remember my SX-101 posts a few weeks ago. It all started 
with my frequency jumping which turned out to be a dirty band switch. I 
also recapped the rig and it was sounding and working better than ever. 
Up until a few days ago. Now it has become completely unusable. The 
signals are now totally distorted and very warbly sounding in both cw 
and ssb to the point you cant understand anything. It started at first 
after it had warmed up for a bit then it began acting up. Now it is 
acting up all of the time. Any idea where I might look to start 
troubleshooting this issue? Very disappointing.
