[Hallicrafters] Early ad for S-76 with different panel style

     An Allied catalog for 1951 shows an S-76 with a quite 
different panel style from the familiar one.  The band 
spread dial and meter are behind a recessed bezel. The meter 
is a large one but the meter body is hidden.  I wonder if 
Hallicrafters ever actually made any receivers like this, 
the photo may be of a mock-up or prototype.  The later 
illustrations are of the familiar S-40 style case with the 
extra large S-meter mounted on the front.
