[Hallicrafters] Tube Testers

Hello All,

 

I recently acquired a Jackson and a Conar tube tester, both appearing to be
in good shape. Before I dig into them to see what needs to be done to bring
them up to snuff, has anyone had any experience with, or opinions about,
either of these brands?

 

I would think that even a mediocre tube tester could give useful relative
data if you were testing more than one tube of a type, so that you could say
with some confidence "this one is better than that one".
