[Hallicrafters] DD-1

Oh, man, isn't that all of our dream: to find a nice DD-1 at some estate sale for a real low price?
About two weeks ago, I was at an estate sale and found an Andrea 1F5 pre-war TV for $75. I'm not a TV guy so I passed the word to a friend who is into TVs. Needless to say, he gobbled it up as fast as any of us would gobble up a DD-1. Fewer than two dozen 1F5 TVs survive and they are worth a pretty penny. The morale of the story is that there are still treasures out there, forgotten in basements and attics just waiting to be found.
