[Hallicrafters] DD-1 on Ebay

The metal work seems to have an emery clothed appearance. Never having seen
one up close, other than Henry's at the Western Historic Radio Museum, would
not know if the fronts were brushed aluminum.

did you notice the right dial on the DD-1 receiver is blank.  I wonder why.
