[Hallicrafters] HT-32 plate current

This is sort of a guess, but it wouldn't surprise me if this is among the significant differences between the earlier versions of the 6146 (6146A, etc) and 6146B.  They are similar, but not always directly interchangeable without some adjustments.

RCA did some element repositioning in their high power close spaced tubes to 
enable class AB1 amplifiers to approach AB2 output specs. Wondering if they 
did the same for the 6146.
