My experience with UPS Pack and Ship is not good.  They will roll it up in bubble wrap and throw it into a crappy thin-walled box, which will burst in short order.  This is despite whatever you may pay for extra packing.  You will have to stand over them and watch them pack it.  And they can claim there's a lot of stuff ahead of yours so you'll get tired of waiting.

I had to ship a $15,000.00 piece of test equipment at my job, and that's what happened despite paying $170.00 of the organization's money for premium packaging.  That instrument must have had a guardian angel, because it survived the trip; but I sure heard about it from the company receiving it!

Your experience may vary, but all I know is what happened in my case.

A heavy battleship-anchor like an SX-28 would NEVER survive such shoddy packing.

I was cleaning up a storage area and found that I have  some 
hallicrafters items that would probably need a new home so that I can 
share the fun.
I have 2 ea. SX-42 receivers for sale as I remember it. I say that 
because so far I have only found one and the front panel for another, 
but I remember having 2. One did work 100% and the opther probably so , 
but I never checked it. I also found a SX-99 and a SX-28, I know I have 
another SX-28(A?) also.
Plus 2 ea HT-32(s) , 2 each SX-101s. 1 and parts for another  HT-9 , A 
nice SX-111 and a decent HT-37 also have 2- SX-71, 1 ea sx-62, a neat 
Supreme AM transmitter and much more , even a Collins S line station 
given to my elmer by Art Collins.
Some unusual hallicrafters and military items, vintage vhf gear, tons of 
parts, etc.
Now that it is getting cooler I will get my act together and get a 
better list.
Open to REASONABLE offers. I want to  keep both SX-43's and both SX-28's 
together since I am not sure about the  extras condition.
Shipping from 78013. Prefer to haul to UPS Pack and ship but can pack 
and ship on my schedule. will ship world wide if necessary.
I have newer stuff also. Please email me with wants , don't ask "what do 
you have" since I have one of most everything , at least everything I 
liked at the time or somebody left on my booth at a hamfest, etc.
