Scott,
Tom Lewis' suggestion is prolly your best bet (thanks, Tom, I dint know
Radio Daze would do one-offs), but there is a quicker solution. Since it's
a clean break, what's needed is to provide stability, something that just
supergluing the pieces together won't do. Here's a possibility:
If you're handy with a glass cutter or scissors, find a
very thin (1mm?) piece of glass (craft store?) or rigid plastic, cut it to size and
VIOLA!, you've got a backing for the dial pieces to adhere to. Just a teensy
bit of superglue'll hold it all together, the thickness of the backing stuff shouldn't
affect replacing the glass in the radio. Hmm. Could do it the other way, also,
and affix the fronts of the dial pieces to the glass / plastic to avoid damaging
the painted? markings.
Then again, contacting John at Radio Daze is a no-brainer, and he might
appreciate that he can use the template he creates to repro more of those
dials as needed, a win-win situation.
