Looking for some information Please...
I have two (2) SX 101's - one in super shape and working perfectly - the other 
is 'sick' and had been stored badly and I am trying to fix it (bought the sick 
one first before I found the working one).

I would like to know/find out what the 'exact' models of these 2 are - and 
hopefully to get schematics for each one/model..

1. The 'sick' one - Serial Number is 199728 and it tunes 160 through 10 Meters 
and then has a 10MHZ band for WWV. On the Chasis says SX 101 Mark 1A. On the 
front bottom left says SX 10?? the complete model identification was rusted off.
I have been trying to use schematics for 2 other models of the SX101 and it is 
driving me crazy because some of the wiring and components are different and 
then hard to follow and figure out components.

2. The one that is working perfect - Serial Numbers is 199839E - nothing on the 
chassis as to model but bottom left front says SX 101A - it tunes 80 through 10 
meters + 10 MHZ WWV - and then has another 'band/conversion for a converter 
(presumably 2 and 6 meters?).

If anyone can help me out to positively identify these 2 units and perhaps share 
schematics or point me in the right direction I would really really appreciate 
it. Perhaps even a 'Operating Manual' ??
The 'sick' one works 'partially' - it receives stations but the sensitivity 
control starts to work after mid point up (replaced the 'scratchy' pot - but 
still works the same) and the S meter shows no signal. Thinking if I get the S 
meter showing a signal perhaps would take care of the 'sensitivity issue/s'.
