Good luck Bob...sounds like quite a challange. Below are web pages for
parts and transformer winding. He also has a long list of Halli. BA
for parts, but no HT-30. Good luck with the project .

Thanks to all who have replied to my emails.I wonder if Gary Brown knows how well respected his services are. He sounds like the guy I need to get in touch with for my HT30 transformer. This project is just getting started. This is going to be my most difficult radio I am going to attempt to restore. It has a number of modifications that in my opinion butchered the radio. One being that it now has an external power supply which is why I am only assuming the original power supply in the radio is shot. The radio was found in a closet along with the external power supply which the seller did not know what it was and Im glad I had him throw it in so I knew what all of the wires hanging out the back of the radio were for. There is very little info on the internet about this particular model radio so I am going to document and take pictures of the restoration project just to add a bit of info for others to possibly take advantage of. I will post pre-restoration pictures next week on my website and will let you know when they are up and running. Wish me luck with this thing.

Thanks again

Bob,
Gary Brown has also done a couple for me and the job
was first class and a good price.

Hi all,
Anybody know a good source for having a transformer rewound at a reasonable
cost? I have HT-30 transmitter that I would like to restore and the
transformer is shot. Or, are there sources for new replacement transformers
for these old rigs?

Thanks-Bob
