Nice picture of Jac! CW on a GPR-90 always makes one happy. :-)

Anyone recognize the two stacked units on the typing stand to his right?
Could they be audio gear? There's a Heath something or other on the shelf
above that. Looks like an EICO cap tester way up on a shelf... Simpson or
Triplett multimeter.

Whaddaya think the horizontally stacked items with two bands, one on each
end on the bookshelves are? Recording tapes??

Really! Although it was page C6, and it was a picture from 1956.

There was a pretty cool article in The Arts section about Jac Holzman, the
founder of Elektra records.

Although the article is about his recent efforts to bring the Doors to the
iPad, there is a pretty good sized picture of him "in his home studio
surrounded by the technology of the time", which included apparently a
GPR-90, a Globe Scout, what looks like a vacuum tube electronic keyer, and
alas, an
S53 pushed off to the left forlornly away from the GPR-90.

There's some vintage test gear there too, some of which might be old
Heathkit, but I can't quite tell - I wanted it to be.......
