Hi all,
I am in great need of the specs for the transformer for my HT-30 that I
am rebuilding. I have run up against a number of obstacles trying to get
a transformer for this thing. I was informed by Gary WZ1M that the
transformer I took out of my newly acquired Ht-30 was not a replacement
and wouldnt work in my radio by itself. This explained why the previous
owner had an external power supply along with this transformer to power
the rig. I have not been able to find a used or replacement transformer
so now I am looking to get one wound custom. My problem is that I am
unable to figure out from the schematic what specs I actually need to
provide to the transformer guy so I can get one built. What I believe
from the schematic is this:

Secondaries: 1-6.3v tap amps needed?
                         2- 5v taps amps needed?
                         1-430 v tap amps needed?
                         1-600v tap amps needed?
Bias tap- volts and amps needed?

The Ht-32, 32A and 32B radios all seem to have 300 amps on high voltage
taps, 11 amps on the 6.3 v tap and 3 amps on the 5v taps. I dont want to
assume anything since this transformer seems to be very "unique" but
maybe the HT-30 could be the same? I am still unsure what the Bias tap
ratings should be.
I would love to hear from any of you with tons more knowledge than I
have and any of you that do have one of these rigs if you would be able
to provide the info for me.

Thanks-Bob-W0YBS
