[Hallicrafters] S-38e tubes

Sorry OM, but Hallicrafters tubes do not command a premium. Now to a died in 
the silver solder devotee, he/she might pay a buck or so for a tube. That is 
a maybe, as having all Hallicrafters tubes in the rig generally does not 
raise its value. So find a good tube source and go for some new ones.

I found a Hallicrafters S-38e at a sale.  The case is just OK, but the radio
is working and I plan to clean it up and recap it.  I was quite surprised to
find that all the tubes are Hallicrafters brand.  Is that as rare as I
think?  Are the tubes worth more than the radio?  Your advice would be
welcomed.
