Please note that Mike, W4DSE, has changed call signs.

I have reverted to my original General Class and Extra Class call, WA4DLF, which I had held since early 1962 and dropped in favor of a vanity call in 2010.  For me, that proved to be a poor fit.  For instance, every time I'd pick up a new or unfamiliar key to test the action, I'd catch myself sending WA4DLF; and there were other "signs" as well.  So, I decided to get my old call back and no longer risk forever losing the chance to do it.

Only problem is, I had to recover WA4DLF as a VANITY call.  But that's a small price to pay.
