[Hallicrafters] Screw

Did you try a hobby shop that carries hardware for Radio Controlled race
cars, planes..and you name it?  We have several "dedicated" hobby shops as
well as ACE hardware stores that have a specialized hobby shop area where
all kinds of special hardware is stocked, such as extremely fine thread #2,
#3, #4,... screws, bolts, nuts, tiny brass and copper tubing.... lots of
great stuff!  You might have to settle for an Allen head screw...but it will
work just fine.

Also, let the list know which radio and which compression cap for which the
screw is needed.  I have a couple of parts radios that might turn up the
screw you need.

thread at the hardware stores.I think it is a number 6 screw. Would anyone
