Hi Skip,
I'm a bit younger, but got started at age 15. Didn't like CW much back
then (in the 50's) but kept with it after I moved from Novice. At one
time was up to 25+ wpm. Lost it 15+ yrs ago, but then 6-8 yrs ago
decided, since I was down around 10wpm maybe, that I needed to do
something about it.
I got on 40m CW every morning for abt 2 mo.s. Had lots of nice
ragchews at 7-12 wpm, and started working up naturally. Got back up
around 20 wpm in an enjoyable fashion. There's always guys willing to
go at whatever speed you can handle.

I was wondering for those older CWers, how many of you got your training in the service. Just wondering. I guess I just need to practice more often - that's what I'm told.
