[Hallicrafters] Blank Messages - A Reflector Question

I think some of that is caused by folks sending a CC to themselves through
the reflector for some reason instead of saving the original email to some
folder.
I don't get it....

Subject: [Hallicrafters] Blank Messages - A Reflector Question
I have been with the reflector since the earlier reflectors ceased to be.
As time progresses, I am seeing more & more messages that are either totally
blank or have a string of previous messages but nothing new added. Is this
my problem somewhere or don't some folks know how to use the system?
Periodically, I see a blank message with a follow-up oops message, etc. But
I see several with no apparent follow-up, oops or otherwise.
Since I am at it, let the rant continue:
Maybe I have "Old-timers" disease but it seems that there are a number (or
at least a few) of messages beyond the obvious ones (about personal
business) and requested, related off-list responses that I see only a
portion of the related responses. The evidence to this is that responses I
haven't seen, show up in the responses of others not cleaned off when
responding. I have closely examined both my ISP's junk mail filter and my
own related junk mail devices and repositories and have found very few
messages entrapped. Is something remiss or is this a recurrence of the old
"reply to all vs reply and more" with some folks only replying directly to
the questioner? BTW: My apologies to the list if I am ranting to the wrong
list.
In times gone by we would see Duane reminding folks about some of these
types of issues but haven't seen much of this in recent times, leading me to
the above questions.
Thanks for the condiseration.
Cheers,
Gerry
