Hi All,

I have had a number of inquiries as to the availability of the one hour live
Halligan interview video filmed on November 18, 1983. Dr. Max De Henseler,
HB9RS did the interview in his NYC apartment. Max had the original VHS tape
converted to the DVD media. I have both of the originals here.

Additionally, the original four part Historic Halligan Radio Project (HHRP)
contained live audio from a variety of places on two CDS. I did the
conversion from the vintage cassette tapes myself.

There was also a third audio CD that contained the complete, not edited,
Chuck Dachis lecture in Dayton. Also included on this CD is the
Hallicrafters produced fifteen minute program that was originally released
on a 45 rpm record! It contains actual audio of Sputnik, the USSR shooting
down an aircraft, the FBI breaking into a building in Chicago with "real"
gun fire and much more. All examples of what a listener might hear on
his/her short-wave radio set!

If any of you are interested in purchasing a DVD copy of the original
unscripted Halligan interview done by HB9RS, Dr. Max De Hensler, please
write me off list or give me a landline: 810 736-3774. Flint, Michigan,
EST/EDT time.

If any of you would be interested in purchasing all three audio CDS, or any
single CD in particular, please contact me.

I 'think' that I still have the original contents list for each CD. However,
I did have a hard drive fail on my faithful Compaq 233 MHZ Pentium computer
in December of 2010. I am hoping that those contents lists were NOT on that
HD! With my luck, they were! Not a real problem, as knowing myself as well
as I do, I probably backed them up in at least half a dozen different
places! (LOL!)

Before I get dozens of e-mails asking why the roasted resister sI had that
valuable material on an old Compaq 233 MHZ P1 machine, I will confess! I
still love DOS! I can get three times as much word processing done using my
beloved Professional Write V2.22 DOS word processing program than I can
using Word Pad or some other Windows based text editing software! DOS wins
over GUI every time in my antiquated book!

Now the HHRP packages contained a lot of other material in addition to the
CD audio clips and video interview on DVD! There is a second DVD with half a
dozen original Hallicrafters video releases from the late forties into the
early sixties. There are also two CDS that contain hundreds of original
private as well as commercial photos. Dozens of Ads. Several dozen articles
from various newspapers and magazines.

There is also a CD devoted to Fritz Franke. It contains his entire lecture
from the Dayton Hamvention. Now this lecture of his is pure history! He
tells things during that lecture that had never been made public before! I
can almost guarantee that what he had to say will set you back in your
favorite recliner or knock you off a bar stool should you happen to be
perched on one when you listen to what he says! As I said above, this puppy
was, and still is, history being made!

Before I go ahead and purchase the special high end and best quality CDS and
DVDS I use for recording, as well as packaging and shipping materials, and
have the CD and DVD case inserts commercially printed, I would like to get a
ball park idea as to how many of you are interested in owning these for real
audio and video bits of radio history. So please let me know gentlemen.

Thanks!
