Don't know for sure but I believe the HT-17 is relatively rare. I have never seen one in the flesh or on the Bay. I have the HT-18 I use for a vfo with my Viking II. Also could be used QRP barefoot with approx 5 watts out from a 6L6 on CW. I pulled all the NBFM tubes.
