Hey Dale,
I don't know if there are any folks on this list that worked for H and, in
particular, on the FPM-300, but your work would make them proud and wish
that they had done it!
Congratulations on an amazing bit of work (millions of bits? :-))!!
I will be one of many who will ask for more detail, another way to pay a
compliment to such craftsmanship!
Thanks for sharing.
73,
Chris

Jim has kindly posted a couple of photos of the station accessory I built to
compliment my 300 Mark II.
The unit adds:
1. Hi Fi front firing speaker
2. Narrow audio CW filter with a post amp to make up for the filter loss.
3. RIT- this makes CW a joy. Now I can tune the other staion to a pleasant
beat note instead of being stuck at 1450Hz.
4. Switchable 14dB gain RF preamp. The preamp is in the rig and activated by
a relay and quite useful on 15 and 10M.
5. Built in 200W dummy load for tune up.
6. Custom wattmeter
7. Memory keyer with a Tune position.
Go to the Photos section and type in FPM.
Enjoy,
Dale W4OP
