The Fate Of Frogzilla: Deceased, MIA Or Just Playing Coy?


To the disappointment of some, and the joy of others,
Frogzilla is not decaying among the lily pads that died from
their pores becoming clogged with two cycle Aqua Ski motor
oil! Nor did he get caught by some Louisiana swamp pirates
who illegally anesthetize frogs with Nitrous Oxide and sell
them to Sister Sarah's Seafood Snacks! Actually he has been
in the Caribbean trying to recover some Collins HF radio gear
deep sixed there by the U.S.S. Forrestal in 1988. Knowing
Frogzilla, you must know that he found far more then he went
treasure hunting for!

     For the foreseeable future, and possibly forever, this
will be the last tale I tell about the amusing mischievous
amphibian that forevermore changed the image of Ham Radio!

     Since it is long enough to qualify as a Novelette, it
will be appearing on the HHI web site in five parts. One
every week for five weeks starting on October 11th.

     If your vintage radio group, Ham Radio club, or other
radio related organization would like to reprint this final
tale, go for it! As long as my name appears as the Author,
you have my permission to reprint it!
