[Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters S-40B

Wow, did this get way out of hand. All the guy originally asked for was if one was available at an affordable price. He didn't ask for a free one. He didn't ask for anyone to send him one no questions asked. Where did anyone get the idea about someone "simply jumping up and sending a radio to someone". Seems like most people understood the original request intent. If I had one to sell I'd offer it for what I considered an affordable and reasonable price. If the requester didn't agree with my affordable and reasonable price, then we wouldn't have a deal. End of story.

I get that very well.

However, one should use one's head before simply jumping up and sending
a radio to someone without knowing them or anything about them.

As to my personal dealings with others on this list, I've gotten to know
them.  I've sent out parts with a pay it forward mentality.  Even in
dealing with a list member that probably everyone else on the list would
NEVER think that I'd do that with.

Call it food for thought.
