When my mother went to live in Florida with my brother, she took her NY cell phone with her. Years later when my brother had to move her to an assisted care facility near him in Florida, she again kept her NY cell phone with her. Isn't everybody comfortable yet with the concept of a cell phone being able to move around the country, whether you're working, traveling, or whatever? Kinda like hams keeping a W2 call when moving to W4 land, isn't it?

This "person" is not WORKING.  He is in same boat that you are!  Is your
cell phone under the carrier in Canada or some such?

This "person's" cell phone is with a carrier in New York City!
