Hi John,
Welcome to the S-76 club!  Great receiver and I'm sure you will enjoy it. I
was fortunate to obtain info on the several simple mods that really enhance
the SSB reception capability of the set as well as the AGC performance
courtesy of Bob Roehrig, K9EUI.  If you are interested in taking a look at
them, drop me an email.  If you know Bob, obviously, you can go that route.
