[Hallicrafters] Old Transformers

I  personally have had very few failures with power transformers that  
old PROVIDED they are run at no more than 110 vac.  Most anything with  
75+/- years on it (including an old carcass like mine) likely to be  
more prone to failure than newer stuff of course .   :^)
