[Hallicrafters] WTB: HT-20 and Halliday Desk Mic

The HT-20 is very prone to the paint "flaking" off the front panel.  Hallicrafters, like most of the other manufacturers, did not "prime" the panel before painting.

The HT-20 is a real "bear" to get inside to work on it.  There are shields within shields and a LOT of sheet-metal screws that have to be removed.

Also, there were very few of the transmitters actually made.  I have s/n 11 and know where s/n 13 is.

There's not a lot of those around especially in nice shape. I know of one
which was for sale for a short time but the seller changed his mind. Not
sure I regret not getting that one other than it would look nice  paired up
with an SX-88. No on-board VFO though. For other Hallicrafters  AM/CW
transmitters have you considered the HT-9 or HT-6?
