[Hallicrafters] BAMA site

Hi Tom,
What appears to have happened with many of the "free manual sites" is
hackers gradually leech the manuals from them. Low definition versions with
shocking contrast (black cat with a white nose in a coal-mine at midnight)
and unreadable schematics seem to replace the good quality versions.
I recently pointed this out to the Yaesu FT7 group, a situation arose where
there were no "free" high definition versions of the FT-7B manual around any
more.
After leeching all the manuals, at some stage in the future, the site is
taken down completely, the good quality manuals are burnt to a disk and sold
on-line at ePay by the hackers, or they turn up on "pay for manuals" sites.
If I sound somewhat suspicious, it's because I've tracked some of my
original scans (identifiable due to unique artefacts in the scan) and
uploaded to "free sites" over the years since the mid 1990s, this has been
their fate.

Regards
Peter VK6PM
