[Hallicrafters] HT37 "Jumpy"

Hi Jason,
	I haven't had this problem with my HT-32, and Richard might have it 
right, I've seen that happen with micas in receivers.  Also have seen 
the problem in receivers being at the VFO variable cap, dirty sliders on 
the rotating plates' shaft, and sometimes just dried grease in the 
bearings.  The variable in the HT-32 VFO is pretty robust, andnot high 
capacitance, but you might try getting a drop or 2 of DeOxit on the 
sliders (not real easy to get to, but possible just by opening the 
cover.  And a drop of oil in the bearings.
	Have fun on SKN, I might get on in a bit.
