color called Dull Aluminum, probably Rustoleum. You don't want a shiny
chrome-looking silver, it's very subdued.

As for the main cabinet, I believe Rustoleum semi-gloss black was the
choice, not high gloss black. Unless you want a pimped-up looking set. I've
got an SX-115 and SX-62B here with original paint, they are not shiny nor
flat. Right in the middle, very utilitarian.

Keep in mind that Hallicrafters was all over the place with its colors,
even in the same run. So anything is possible. But the Dull Aluminum and
Semi-Gloss Black will get you pretty close for the cabinets.
