Hi guys,
Well, I have to jump in also. Todd was next to me on one side, nick &
JP on the other, JB close. The RARS folks are getting a little better
at locating us BA guys close to each other, if we ask, anyhow.
I can speak for Todd's restraint, he went home with quite a bit less
than he came with, incl. that SX-101A which only slightly tempted me. I
only spent $7 for lunch, and bought a crimp tool for Anderson PowerPole
connx. I sold about $400 worth of misc. from the estate of Greg,
WA7LYO, not counting the heavy iron I deld that had been prearranged.
Wilson, John B & Jon W were recipients of that.
I was also somewhat tempted by an HQ-170A with speaker, last seen
unsold at $175, and a mutual friend had said offers would be gratefully
recd.
I still have a cupla dozen Priority Mail boxes with misc edebris from
Greg's, I'll try to take some pix this week, maybe someone will want
some stuff for shipping plus small donations to Karen. Will post on the
webpage that still has some good stuff:
<http://www.boatanchors.org/Gregs.htm> I'll update it later. If
soemthing won't easily fit in a Priority box, the only way it'll get
shipped is if you pay for packing & shipping at UPS Store or similar.
