[Hallicrafters] Power washing a dusty, grimy rig??

I would not use a power washer, even a weak one. Chances are that water  
will get driven where you don't really want it. If you have to wash it, use an 
 ammonia and water mixture, brush it on and wash it off immediately with 
the fine  spray from a garden hose.  Dry it in the sun for a day or two. Be 
sure to  test the mixture in a safe spot before going whole hog. Keep it away 
from dials  and meters Test it on any decals, silk screen lettering, stamped 
chassis  markings you might want to retain, etc.
