Thanks Mike. For people starting off with vintage tube gear I think the GR 1001A would serve them well. Plus the mechanicalconstruction is so well done it would be a lesson in itself. My unit is available so just QSL if interested. 73, John----------------------------------------------------------------------Message: 1Date: Sat, 19 Nov 2011 16:56:37 -0500From: "Scotti and Mike" <mikeg at ieee.org>Subject: Re: [National] Signal Generators (General Radio 1001A)To: "National Radio Equipment" <national at mailman.qth.net>,<hallicrafters at mailman.qth.net>Cc: national at mailman.qth.net, rca at mailman.qth.netMessage-ID: <E12BF0246A9246F8B9A336E6963580F7 at Mikes>Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1";reply-type=originalThe GR 1001 series was on most work benches in the late 1950s at National helping us design new circuits for new radios. It is a very good unit.Mike K1LJN
