Yes, I have three 8640B's plus a junker for parts, and have been very lucky
so far with the gears.
I have several belt & gear catalogs, but never had the need to look in them.
I'd be very interested in the info on replacement gears.
Curiously, since I specialize in 51S-1 servicing, I find that the problem
prone Wavetek 3000 series generators are great for stepping through the
bands one MHz at a click. Their output is rather dirty, but I'm only
looking to peak the S meter at that point anyway.
