When I got my 25 in 1971 it had a Navy calibration sticker dated 12/1956. It finally got erratic last year. With 11 radios in the shop and 5 on the waiting list I had no time to restore test equipment. I had it restored and am well pleased. Before restoring I never turned it off (for the previous 10 years). If I did it would take two hours to settle down. Now I can turn it off when ever I leave the shop and when I return it is a rock in less than 5 minutes.
