[Hallicrafters] My First Boat Anchor Restoration: SX101 MkIII

My apologies for making this such a large thread.  It is great to talk
with other Hallicrafter enthusiasts.

I went ahead and bought a working Heathkit VTVM (a V7A) for $21.00
shipped to my door.  It is missing a DC probe which I will build
(instructions available in the manuals I am getting).

After I get this girl working, I will try to find a Hallicrafter
speaker cabinet to go along with it.  Right now I am using the
National speaker.

BTW, the NC183D is such a gorgeous radio.  I want to use that for SW
Listening and to help light up the shack.
