[Hallicrafters] My First Boat Anchor Restoration: SX101 MkIII

I'm sure that he really meant 12AU7A, BUT the typing ability is like 
many of us.  since they are sequential, he most likely meant 12, but 
instead, landed on 23.

Jason - By doing the phono input, you have already tested the audio 
stage by getting a hum.  While it doesn't indicate that it is up to 
snuff, it DOES indicate functionality.

You will need the manual, and the test equipment to completely check it 
out and get it up to full capability.

Work with your local ham, and/or some others to do this.

You will learn a lot, and learn where you can put your hands/test 
equipment, and HOW to do this.
