[Hallicrafters] Dodgy sellers responding to Wanted Postings.

Just a heads up. Twice I've been contacted by supposed sellers about wanted
posts that
Have turned out to be fraudulent.  Most recently regarding a SX-23.
Fortunately in this 
last case the seller included a call sign. I checked the call sign in
QRZ.com and got a different email. 
A message to the email provided by QRZ.com yielded a response that the real
call sign owner didn't know
Anything about the selling of any radio.

The fraudulent seller even included the real address of the person with the
call sign and wanted a 
 Western Union money transfer.

Both times, these fraudulent sellers have been outside of the US.

Obviously someone is paying attention to the wanted postings in this list
and has 
 Some knowledge of the radios.

I suggest asking for a phone number to contact any seller directly, asking
for additional photo
 And asking for the serial number of any radio.

I have done very well by this group and other groups but also don't want
people burned.
