ago and it had an $850 price tag then. I went back by about ten minutes

Hi John, Greg;
   About 5 years ago I borrowed a SX-42 Tilt Base from a fellow and duplicated it.  The one I browed had lost the adjustment screw so I built two screws and returned his with a new screw.  All told the cost for the metal was maybe $20 plus a cup of coffee for my machinist friend.  Installed from 2 feet you would be hard pressed to tell the difference.
