I am still looking for a 6901. Methinks that speaker is extremely rare!

Back in the late ' 50s, I had a 6900 that I used with an Apache and SB-10.
I thought it was the cat's meow and loved the tuning. The rich kid down the
block had Gold Dust Twins and I used to hate the mechanical filter "ring" that
the A-4 emitted. Matter of fact, one night we were chasing some DX on 10 meters
and coordinating on the twisted pair. I was hearing a number of stations with my
6900 and 10 meter plumber's delight beam mounted on the chimney that he was not
hearing with his 50 foot tower mounted Telrex beam and the A-4. I never let him
forget it!
I am fortunate to have a pair of 6900s and 6901s in my collection. I still
think they are great receivers.

John, W4AWM
