I have an Hallicrafters S-19 for sale

I contacted Chuck Dachis and this was his response:

"HI Chuck,

  What you have is the S-19 Sky Buddy, it is the second in a series of 3 
starting in 1936 with the 5-T and ending with the S-19R in 1939. The 
S-19 had a short run during 1938 and is "rare". Yours seems to be in 
good cosmetic condition, is missing the send receive switch, and the 
silver trim around the speaker grill is not original. I would suggest 
you put it up for bid on eBay if you want to sell it. I think the 
schematic and other service data is in Riders Manuals. Good luck with 
what ever you do.

It looks very good and is in good operating condx.

The dial shows some discoloration.

I suspect the power Xformer has been replaced and doesn't have a center tap.

Hence no receive stand-by switch.

I can see that one of the IF xformers has been replaced.

With that in mind, I am taking a chance and offering it here because I 
HATE to list on EBay.

I am asking $300.00 + shipping. I will consider reasonable offers.
