Hi Jack:

V10 pin 6 is the negative going output of the AM detector.  No positive 
voltage will appear there.  Kindest regards Jim K9AXN

I?ve been trying to align my sx-117 and right from the start, paragraph 6.4, 
step 1, it says to keep 1.0v on pin 6 of V10 and all I can get is a neg. 
voltage of from ?5.0 to a ?0.5. How could I possibly get a neg voltage on 
pin 6 as pin 6 is the plate of that tube?

Help me!
