[Hallicrafters] Ref hHALP

Just took a look t the schematic.  Unusual negative feedback  
arrangement but should work OK if (1) connected up as SHOWN IN THE  
SCHEMATIC, and (2 ) if the output transformer is phased correctly.  If  
squealing occurs reversal of the terminals on the output (low  
impedance) side of the output transformer will be required.
