I certainly agree about reasonable snipping and that the
stuff QTH adds to each message should be snipped when
responding, but, if _everything_ is snipped off it will
sometimes be difficult to know what is being responded to.
That's why I left your original message. The decision as to
what and how much to snip must be left to the individual
responder. Most people have some sense of this but I
recommending reading over what you are going to send before
sending it. Sometimes it takes a minute or two to see if it
makes sense or if there are typos, etc.
