[Hallicrafters] HB9RS Returns Home

Hi All,


I have received a telephone call from our friend HB9RS, Dr. Max De Henseler 
in Switzerland. Was I surprised? Are NOS audio output tube pairs for a 
vintage stereo amplifier cheap? (LOL!)


He is now at home. Max said he had a rough time of it, but the over 200 get 
well wishes that he received certainly made each day brighter! He asked me 
to thank all of you who sent him warm wishes and to let you know that a Ham 
friend is a Ham good friend! (Actually I took a bit of literary license in 
that last sentence!) He turly appreciated all of you letting him know that 
you cared. Do not be surprised if Max answers some, maybe all, of you in the 
not too distant future! First he needs to regain his strength.


What happened? If the doctors know, they are not saying. Max simply passed 
out and laid unconscious on his apartment floor for three days. A visiting 
nephew could not get an answer at the door, so after a hour he called the 
police. They broke the lock and found Max unconscious.


What ever happened, we are glad you are back with us Max. Keep on keeping on 
OM!
