Hi All,

Thanks to all for the most helpful information.

The watch I was going to order from Maxi Aids in NY I just found out is 
'temporarily out of stock'. A pity the woman I spoke with by phone failed to 
tell me that! It sold for $39.95 and was model 704008. It has a chrome case, 
black face, fake gemstones for the numerals and an expansion watch band. It 
is to be put in a window one night per week to calibrate and charge. Now how 
it charges in the dark mystifies me!

If one of you would be so kind as to get on the Maxi Aids web site and check 
their watches for the blind, I need to buy one that they do have in stock! 
The price should be no less that forty dollars, as cheaper is worse in these 
items! My Braille watch cost me over one hundred dollars!

What I want is the same as I mentioned above. Supposedly that one did not 
require a battery, but whether it was solar powered or what I do not know. 
All I know is that it was set by WWV and I never needed to set it manually.

I do not care if the watch costs more than forty dollars, I just need one 
that meets my needs and that they have in stock ready to ship. Any options 
would be appreciated. Thanks!
