This film from 1955 ought to bring back some memories, Paul.    It was 
made by the Phil-Mont Mobile Radio Club in Philadelphia - the focus is 
on emergency communications, but it features lots of cool old radios 
including homebrew gear, a boatanchor Field Day, and  boatanchor cars too!
