Yep, it's a 40-channel, alright.  I was still with the old BURSTEIN-APPLEBEE 
Co. as Denver regional Svc Mgr in late '77 - the company was selling out of 
23-channel units at "steal" prices, as if you had any 23's left after 31 
December, 1977, they had to be DESTROYED; the mgmt. didn't wanna have to do 
that.  The shop averaged 3,000 radio repairs per month, until about April. - 
that, in addition to stereo & other items.
