[Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters S36 looks new in pictures & S22R

There is an ad running for a Hallicrafters receiver -   SF Bay Area
Craigslist.

 

I inquired and it's an S36 which looks like it's either near new or a very
good restoration.

 

The price is NOT what is on the ad but with the person who listed saying an
error was made.

 

She wants $285 for it NOT the $185 in the ad.

 

She also has an S22R and offered it along with the S36 at both for $300.

 

I have no interest in the S36 but it's so nice in the pictures she sent me
that I though perhaps there's somebody out there who would like to ad it to
his or her collection.  I'd hate it to go to somebody who just wants to make
money by resale of it.  And, yes I realize there are people like that who
will be reading this as well..  Hams aren't like they were years ago.
