I listened to the old Mic net for a while...then at 13:00 (The halli
net is supposed to start then , right?) I heard nothing, listened for a
net control for anothre 30 minutes, then gave up...
Band was open, heard lots of folks on the old mic net. The I checked
into the vintage net at 2:15 or so....

Is the net supposed to star at 13:00 EST (17:00 GMT )or do I have the
wrong time?
Thanks,
73,
Lee

Hi,
K5LYN & I, W8UY, were there abt 10 min. of 2 ET, had heard almost
nothing up & down abt 10kc for the last 5-10 min. We chatted a few
min.& called the Vintage Sideband net at 2PM. Along with Vince,
WB4BPS,
the 3 of us took checkins for an hour. Strange thing, as soon as Lynn
&
I started, the guys on 295 appeared. Then the county hunters on 290
appeared a bit later. Strange propagation I guess.
